This is Marissa Narlock's sixth year with the Greenfield High School Band. Before coming to Greenfield, Mrs. Narlock had been a member of the Cedarburg High School Marching Band staff for four years and worked as a woodwind and visual coach as well as the assistant marching band director. She also served as Director of Bands at Webster Middle School and Co-Director of Bands at Cedarburg High School for the 2015-2016 school year. Prior to working with Cedarburg, Marissa was the Director of Bands at Pius XI High School in Milwaukee Wisconsin, where she taught sixth through twelfth grade band and served as the Instrumental Coordinator for the Pius Performing Arts Academy from 2011-2014.
Receiving her Bachelor’s in Instrumental Music Education from Carthage College in 2010, Marissa Narlock completed her Master’s degree in Education Leadership and Administration from Concordia University-Portland in 2016. Marissa maintains a busy performance schedule and private clarinet and piano studio in Washington County. She enjoyed being a full-time member of the Lakeshore Symphonic Band for the past six years but is taking an extended break after the birth of her first child, Wallace.
Marissa Narlock is a member of the National Association for Music Education, Women Band Directors International, Lambda Kappa Professional Music Fraternity and is a past president for the Lakeshore Symphonic Band.
